Talen Andersen is a performer, composer, and educator based in Northern California. He holds a B.A. in Music with a concentration in Education from William Jessup University.
PERFORMER
Talen's performance experience spans more than a decade across California. While he mostly plays as a solo act, he has performed with various bands and ensembles. While voice is his primary instrument, he also plays guitar, bass, piano, drums, ukulele, and mandolin. Talen is also an accomplished stage actor and has appeared in several musical theatre productions.

COMPOSER
Talen wrote his first song in high school, which he recorded on a CD, which currently sits at the bottom of a dusty box in the attic. Since then, he has honed his craft as a songwriter, which has also blended with his newfound love of classical composition acquired during his music studies.

EDUCATOR
Talen currently teaches music and drama at Bradshaw Christian School, as well as voice, piano, guitar, bass, and music theory at Music Institute of Roseville. One can expect his classroom to be engaging, enriching, and collaborative. Talen believes that music is a divine gift and it has the potential to reshape lives. He is and always will be an advocate for the arts, standing true to his beliefs that wish to see everyone engaging in them.
